Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Ajolla Inc., which operates Ottoframe. By creating an account or using the web or iOS app you accept them. If you use Ottoframe on behalf of an organization, you accept them for that organization.

The service

Ottoframe provides a browser-based video podcast studio, verified local track upload, session exports, show collaboration, swap booking tools, and a director-led Campaign Studio. Some features are release-gated or marked beta and may not be available to every account.

Accounts, shows, and recordings

You are responsible for account security, show-member access, participant invitations, and obtaining all recording notices and consents required by law. Do not secretly record, unlawfully monitor, disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the service. A show owner controls its workspace and may remove members and content.

Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant Ottoframe and its subprocessors a limited license to host, transmit, transform, and generate from that content only to operate features you request. You must have the necessary rights to every submitted product, logo, episode, person, likeness, voice, performance, claim, music track, image, and reference.

User content and conduct

Ottoframe carries content people create for one another: profiles, direct messages, room chat, recordings, and threads. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post or send content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or that exploits minors; impersonate anyone; spam; or use Ottoframe to stalk or intimidate another person.

Every profile, message, and thread can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked. We review reports within 24 hours. When content violates these terms we remove it, and we remove the users who posted it from the service; serious or repeated violations lead to permanent account termination without refund. We may also act on violations we find ourselves, and we cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires. Report abuse in the app or by emailing support@ottoframe.com.

Campaign Studio rules

Do not create deceptive impersonations, undisclosed synthetic endorsements, unlawful election content, infringing work, or media that exploits a person without consent. The concept, claim, storyboard, rough-cut, and final review steps are mandatory production controls, not legal clearance. You are responsible for factual substantiation, talent releases, union or guild requirements, platform disclosures, accessibility, music clearance, and advertising or broadcast review before publication.

AI output

Generated output can be inaccurate, inconsistent, physically implausible, or similar to output created for others. Model availability and behavior can change. Ottoframe does not promise that an output will win approval, meet a broadcaster specification, or be exclusive. AI-generated labels and provenance metadata must not be removed when removal would make the use misleading or violate law or platform rules.

Subscriptions

Solo is free. Show and Studio are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Prices, taxes, and what each plan includes are shown before you buy.

Purchased in the iOS app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel the subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) at any time after purchase. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Purchased on the web. Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe and can be cancelled from Settings › Billing; cancelling ends the plan at the end of the current period. Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately.

When a subscription ends, the account returns to the free Solo plan. Existing recordings stay available until their retention window closes.

Credits and refunds

Included monthly Campaign Studio credits expire with their grant; prepaid credit-pack terms are shown at checkout. A quote reserves credits before generation, and unused reserved credits are returned when settlement permits. Provider work already performed is generally not refundable except where required by law or where the checkout terms say otherwise.

Marketplace scope

Swap bookings may be available. Paid marketplace checkout, escrow, refunds, disputes, and payouts are not offered until Ottoframe explicitly enables them. A visible profile or connected payout account is not a promise that paid booking is available.

Availability, suspension, and liability

The service may be interrupted by maintenance, network conditions, browsers, devices, or third-party providers. You should retain source media and final deliverables. Ottoframe may limit or suspend activity that creates security, legal, cost, or abuse risk. To the extent permitted by law, Ottoframe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss; rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Termination and contact

You may cancel a subscription through its billing provider and delete your account in the app (You › Delete account) or on the web (Settings › Account). Deletion can be delayed when cleanup cannot safely complete or records must be retained by law. Questions may be sent to support@ottoframe.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Support page.
