Which browser can record locally?
Launch capture is supported on desktop Chrome and Edge. Mobile is for joining and monitoring; keep the studio tab open until every chunk is verified.
Do guests need a plan?
No. Guests never need an account, let alone a plan. They click a link, pass the green room, and talk.
How do campaign credits work?
Show and Studio include expiring monthly grants. Purchased credits do not expire. Quotes reserve credits; failed work releases the reservation.
Can I book paid talent?
Not in the public launch. Interview swaps are available. Paid checkout and payouts remain behind a release gate while the complete money-movement flow is verified.
Can I use my own camera and interface?
Yes. The green room enumerates every capture device the browser can see, including capture cards and audio interfaces, and records the one you pick.
Is the marketplace fee charged on swaps?
No. Swaps involve no money at all, so there is nothing to take a percentage of.
What happens when I hit a recording limit?
New recordings stop; nothing already captured is touched. Recorded hours and downloads reset at the start of each calendar month, and storage frees up as recordings age out or you delete them.
How long do you keep my recordings?
14 days on Solo, 180 days on Show, a year on Studio, counted from when a track finishes uploading. Export what you want to keep — the retention window is shown on your billing page. Downgrading never shortens a window already granted.
